In addition to building models that explore a project’s relationship to its site, our team also uses physical modeling to study the design at larger scales. This is how we develop the project’s overall character, test assumptions made in the design drawings, and refine important architectural elements including fenestration, passageways, materials and roof forms.
These larger scale models are one of several tools we use to clearly explain design concepts and alternatives to our clients.
