In 2009 The Silverlake Conservatory of Music asked several well-known Los Angeles architectural firms to describe how they would approach the design of the School’s new building on a constrained site on Sunset Boulevard. Parallax presented this concept for a 3-story teaching and performance facility connected to the street with a dramatic atrium space. On the strength of this artful, highly functional solution, the Conservatory selected Parallax as its architects to help develop its future home.
